Hope Street’s mission is to provide housing and community to empower broken men, women, and children to cultivate a relationship with Jesus, themselves, and others to restore hope that flourishing is possible for us all.   

The Greenhouse Leadership Society is a group of high school students from across the Greater Milwaukee Area who come together to build leadership skills, run their own fundraisers supporting Hope Street, and give back to their community — all with the support of mentors and Hope Street staff! 

Arovon's why: My name is Arovon Mukhopadhyay, and I am a volunteer at Hope Street. I first started volunteering at Hope Street several months ago, and the first thing I noticed was how welcoming the community was to me. Through Hope Street, I met lots of people—each with different backgrounds and experiences. I heard about the challenges that people had to go through and the struggles people still go through today. I want people to know about Hope Street because I want the people who struggle with so many obstacles in life to get the happiness and joy they deserve. Hope Street is a community of family, and I can confidently say from my personal experience that it is a place that will be welcoming to anyone.
